Bachelor's Degree

OVERVIEW

Sports and the sports economy are key societal issues. There are many stakeholders involved, ranging from local governments to sports associations, federations, event agencies, specialty sporting goods retailers, digital apps, and marketing services that use sponsorship as a communication tool. This industry is booming, driven by trends related to health, wellness, and events. From 2019 to 2024, France hosted the largest number of global events supported by professionals and volunteers. While its scope is complex (with an economy valued between 45 and 90 billion euros depending on the calculation method), the fact remains that physical activity is becoming fundamental in many sectors of society. You can become a key player in the fight against sedentary lifestyles among young people as well as adults in the workplace, people with limited mobility, inclusion, the economic impacts of major events, the fight against violence, the promotion of well-being, or tourism development… Building on the DEUST in Sports Services Action and Marketing or a two-year post-secondary degree, the Professional Bachelor’s Degree in “Management and Development of Sports Services Organizations” trains development officers for sports and/or recreational facilities and services who can contribute to this growth.
